Overview

The Training Detail Page serves as a one-stop resource for learners to access all necessary information about a course. It can be accessed through the Course Catalog or the Individual Development Plan by selecting View Training Details.


Key Features

Training Detail Page Header

  1. Type of Training: Indicates if the course is a Document, External Link, eLearning, Instructor-Led, Virtual Instructor-Led (Webinar), Learning Path, or Certification.
  2. Paid or Free status
  3. Due Date
  4. Enrollment Status
  5. Social Media Features (if enabled):
    1. Add to Favorites
    2. Add to a Playlist

About Training

  1. Displays Goal, Summary, and Notes related to the course.
  2. Learners can see all items that need to be completed in order to successfully complete the course.
  3. Action buttons will be available for each step and will become available based on the sequence in which the course needs to be taken.

Reviews

  1. Learners can view likes, dislikes, ratings, and written reviews from other users.
  2. To interact:
    1. Like/Dislike: Click the thumbs-up (Like) or thumbs-down (Dislike) icons.
    2. Add a Review:
      1. Click Give Review.
      2. Select a star rating.
      3. Enter your comments in the provided field.
      4. Click Submit.
NOTE: This feature is only available if Social Media is enabled in Configuration.

Discussion

  1. Learners, instructors, and administrators can participate in course-related discussions.
  2. To post a comment:
    1. Type your message.
    2. Add attachments using the Add Media button (if needed).
    3. Click Post to submit your message.
NOTE: This feature is only available if Social Media is enabled in Configuration.

  1. Provides additional information such as:
    1. Expiring On: Training expiration date
    2. Enrolled Date: Date of enrollment
    3. Valid Till: Training validity period
    4. Completion Date: Course completion date
    5. Training Hours: Duration of the course
    6. Vendor: Course provider information
    7. Virtual Resources
    8. Associated Badges
    9. Instructor details (for instructor-led courses)
    10. Location (for instructor-led courses)
    11. Required For (indicates course assignment details)
    12. Training Associated With (part of a Learning Path or Certification)

Course Completion Process

  1. The Training Detail Page lists all required steps for course completion.
  2. Assessments and Evaluations become available once training content is completed.
  3. Start Button:
    1. Guides learners to the next step in the course.
    2. Updates dynamically as each step is completed.
    3. Status indicators:
      1. Not Started: Course has not been started.
      2. In Progress: Course has been started, but not completed.
      3. Completed: All steps for the course have been finished.

Certification & Badges

  1. If a certificate is available, it can be accessed via the Certificate button at the bottom of the page.
  2. Earned Badges are also displayed at the bottom of the page.
