KB615 | v17 | How to Enroll and Take Training

Summary

This article provides guidance on how to enroll in and launch courses within GyrusAim. Additional KB articles and their links have been included to provide more details regarding features where courses may be accessed within the system. For review, see this list of the places you can find courses, with links to their respective help articles:

• Individual Development Plan (IDP) - List of an employee's required training

• Course Catalog - List of open/optional training for an employee

• My Assessments - List of required assessments

• Gap Analysis - List of training that are required for other jobs

• Class Calendar - Calendar view of all scheduled instructor-led training

View Training Details

The View Training Details action button on both the IDP and Course Catalog serves as the central access point for learners. Clicking this button allows learners to:

• View detailed information about the course

• Start eLearning course types

• Enroll in scheduled course types

Enrollment for Scheduled Courses

From the Training Details page, click on All Classes to view all scheduled sessions for a course.

A pop-up window will display a list of available classes, including their scheduled dates and times. Locate your preferred class and click on the ellipsis (...) icon next to it, then select Enroll 
to complete the enrollment process.

Enrollment for eLearning Type Courses

From the Training Details page, click Start to begin your course.

Multi-step Courses

If the course contains multiple components, clicking Start will guide you through each step sequentially. Ensure you complete all required components to receive credit for course completion.
