KB706 | v16 | How to Download Virtual Resources from v16 Servers (For Self-Hosted Sites)
Summary
Version 16 Self-hosted customers have the ability to access their server's application files and retrieve Virtual Resources, Scorm Files, Images, and other files that are uploaded to GyrusAim to view and download them via Windows File Explorer. This requires server access, so the administrator looking to access these files must have credentials for your site's servers. Self-hosted customers without access should contact their site's IT administrators and hosted clients will need to open a ticket in the Gyrus Support portal for assistance.
Steps
1) Log into your site's server and open File Explorer.
2) Navigate to your site's main folder. Each client may chooses this file's name and location when setting up GyrusAim so it will be different for every customer, but we generally default to putting it somewhere under C:\inetpub\wwwroot
3) From here, you should see all the files inside your site's main folder. You are looking for a folder named "Content", though this name may also be chosen by the customer during install and thus will vary from site to site. Click on it to access your site's content:
