KB702 | v17 | Sync Scheduled Trainings to Google and Outlook Calendars

Overview

GyrusAim allows learners to sync scheduled webinars or instructor-led trainings (ILTs) to their Google and Outlook Calendars for better event tracking and reminders.

Accessing the GyrusAim Calendar

1. Log into GyrusAim.
   
2. Click on the Classroom Events icon (calendar icon) in the top-right corner.
   
3. The calendar view will display all upcoming scheduled events.

Syncing Options

You can sync your training schedule using either:

1. ICS file download (import manually into Google or Outlook Calendar)
   
2. Calendar URL

Syncing with Outlook Calendar

1. Open Outlook and navigate to the Calendar section (calendar icon on the left sidebar).
   
2. Click on Add Calendar.

3. Choose one of the following methods:
   
1. Using URL Subscription:
   
1. Select Subscribe from web.
   
1. 
2. Paste the copied calendar URL from GyrusAim.
   
3. Click Import to add it to your Outlook calendar.
   
2. Using ICS File:
   
1. Select Upload from file.
   
1. 
2. Upload the downloaded ICS file from GyrusAim.
   
3. Click Import to add the events.
   

Syncing with Google Calendar

1. Open Google Calendar.
   
2. Click on the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.

3. Navigate to Import & Export.

4. Choose one of the following methods:
   
1. Using ICS File:
   
1. Click Import.
   
1. 
2. Upload the ICS file from GyrusAim.
   
3. Click Import to add the events.
   
2. Using URL Subscription:
   
1. Select From URL in the left-hand menu.

2. Paste the copied calendar URL from GyrusAim.
   
3. Click Add Calendar to subscribe.
