Overview

The Percent Completion Graph is a newly introduced feature in GyrusAim, designed to provide learners, managers, and administrators with a dynamic and accurate visual representation of course progress. This feature calculates completion percentages by tracking learner actions and milestones across various training types.

Configuration

The Percent Completion is a column included on the Manage My People Report, Master Training Report and Training Transcript Report. To see the Percent Completion on the IDP, Course Catalog and Training Detail Page you must enable this feature in Configuration > Application > View Progress Bar.

Key Features of the % Completion Graph

  1. Dynamic Calculations: Percentage updates in real-time based on completed steps versus total steps.
  2. Visual Representation: Integrated into the IDP, Course Catalog, Training Detail Page, as shown on the screenshot and reflected in the following reports:
    • Manage My People Report
    • Master Training Report
    • Training Transcript Report
  3. Status Alignment:
    • Not Started: 0% completion
    • In Progress: 1-99% completion
    • Completed: 100% completion
  4. Recurring Courses: For courses with expiration and reenrollment, the completion percentage resets to 0%.

Completion Rules by Training Type

1. External Link

  • Requires Enrollment Approval:
    • 0% upon assignment and enrollment approval.
    • 50% upon launch.
    • 100% upon learner marking it complete.
  • Requires Completion Approval:
    • 0% upon assignment and enrollment.
    • 50% upon launch.
    • 95% upon learner requesting completion approval.
    • 100% upon supervisor or admin approval.

2. Document

  • Requires Enrollment Approval:
    • 0% upon assignment and enrollment approval.
    • 50% upon launch.
    • 100% upon learner marking it complete.
  • Requires Completion Approval:
    • 0% upon assignment and enrollment.
    • 50% upon launch.
    • 95% upon learner requesting completion approval.
    • 100% upon supervisor or admin approval.

3. eLearning

  • Progress based on content reviewed:
    • If 70% of content is reviewed, 70% completion is achieved.
    • Completion status reaches 100% upon finishing all required content.

4. ILT (Instructor-Led Training)

  • Progress calculated on days and steps completed relative to total.
  • Example:
    • A 3-day course with 5 total steps:
      • 60% completion if 3 days are completed but assessments remain incomplete.
      • 100% upon completion of all steps.

5. Webinar

  • Only Training:
    • 0% upon assignment and enrollment.
    • 100% upon instructor marking the course complete.

6. Assessment

  • Partial Save: Completion based on number of questions answered versus total questions.
  • Completion:
    • 100% if passed.
    • 0% if failed.

7. Learning Path

  • Completion percentage calculated as a weighted average of completed modules/steps.
  • Example: A 5-module path with assessment and evaluations within in module equals 15 steps total and 6.66% per step.

8. Certificate

  • Completion percentage calculated as a weighted average of completed modules/steps.
  • Example: A 5-module certification with assessment and evaluations within in module equals 15 steps total and 6.66% per step.

9. Comprehensive Courses

  • Includes various training types and associations like assessments and evaluations.
  • Example: A 9-step course totals 11.11% per step.
