KB681 | v16 | Manage Unlock

Summary

In Gyrus, the admin has the capability to limit the number of attempts a student has on a Learning Object or Assessment before the training or assessment. Once locked, the training or assessment will need to be unlocked by an administrator or supervisor.

Learning Object and Assessment attempts can be limited in the configuration section of Gyrus. From the Navigation Menu, go to Configuration > Defaults > Learning Object and populate the "Elearning Attempt" field for Learning Objects.



For Assessments, from the Navigation Menu, go to Configuration > Defaults > Question and Assessments and populate the "Assessment Attempt" field. 



Unlock

If the attempt limit is exceeded, the student will be informed via a popup message that the number of training attempts is exceeded and they may notify the administrator to unlock the training.



Now the administrator or supervisor may see the request for unlock the training or assessment within Manage Unlock located on the Navigation Menu.



Right-click on the row to unlock the training or assessment.
