Currently, the only was to send a company wide message to students on Gyrus is by adding it in the Messages side bar. This messages bar is so small and difficult to look at due to it's formatting. The notification used to inform students they have a message is also very small and unnoticeable.

I believe giving the admin the ability to add their messages to a pop up style notification box as soon as they sign in, like the bug fix announcements, would make company wide messages much more impactful and clear. I stopped using the messages side bar because no one ever checks it. We need a better form of direct communication to all the company wide employees on Gyrus. I think this would be a good solution.
